Well, after a bit of hoop-jumping I'm deep enough in the legal processes to safely open up the website to the public!
So, let's get the formalities out of the way: I am Twilight Faze, the game's creator, developer, etc. No, I am not in any way related to the Call of Duty clan members, so don't ask. I've had my name longer, so it's better to say they're named after me (especially since we're both crazy LOL). I have no team under me. When I say this game is indie, I'm not kidding: I'm the only one working on it. That being said, I'd be a damn fool if I said every last bit was all me. A lot of people put their hearts and souls into the engine, the graphics, and even the tools I use, which is open for the general public. I have them all in my Credits page so feel free to check out their work! So what is The Legend of Pangaea? I've always loved RPGs and the stories they give. These days, however, it feels too much effort is being made into how pretty a game is over what the game's story is about. Don't get me wrong, I love graphics as much as the next guy, but one can't forget your roots. I've had opportunities to bring The Legend of Pangaea to 3D and maybe if it ever takes off, I may remake it to be more for modern audiences. But for now, I want to bring back the old 2D magic with a story I found beautiful. As for the story, I was inspired by Cullen Pittman's Pokemon fanfic: The Incredible Poke-Odyssey. However, I rewrote it over and over and over again so many times, that the characters were different, the world was different, and even the story as a whole was different: But the premise was ultimately the same: An ordinary boy from our world comes to another world of fantasy and helps save it. Not entirely original, I know, but I feel the method in which he got here may be. Play the Demo to see for yourself. About the Demo, it's absolutely free. However, there is a bit of cut content since part of it was experimental, and the other part was just to be a tease. That being said, I'm always willing to listen to players who have ideas on how the game can be improved. The full game will also be reUntil the game is launched, there is always room for improvement. Feel free to comment your ideas here in my Blog or e-mail me at twilightfaze@thelegendofpangaea.com. I work a full-time job and I also have real-life responsibilities so for now there is no set release date. I'm aiming for end of December 2016, but we'll see. Why so far away? Again, I'm only one guy doing the work of 20 people and I can't afford to hire anyone else. That being said, I'll be doing my best to keep you guys appraised of what I'm up to as far as the game is concerned. Thanks to everyone who's given their support.
