Hi Pangaeans!
This has been a pretty busy week for me on a personal level. Let's get down to it, shall we? I won't be around Friday so I'm doing my weekly report early. Unfortunately, RPG Maker MV didn't get the update still. Probably gonna take a while so I decided to work on the framework on some of the mechanics, namely the skill sets for the players. I already have the names and effects, but making the animations is the hard bit. Keep in mind that even though you'll have at least six party members, there's going to be a few temporary party members who do their own thing, like Blitz in the demo. I'll also bet you're wondering what in the heck happened to Selvin and Miirah's latest chapters. Fact is, Selvin's is done and Miirah's is getting there. I had forgotten the length of this particular mission and didn't factor in the time between doing both of them as well as my own troubles. I have a busy weekend coming up so I'm hoping to finish Miirah's tonight so I can upload them both like I promised. I'll get straight to work on the next chapters afterwards. The time is coming real close for all three of their jobs to be revealed so I may take a break to get them all caught up on that. So what has me so busy? Well, besides the lengthy quests for two characters and writing them so that it fits with Korvik's story. I've been back to job hunting and that's causing me to drive around a lot. Most of them have been busts, unfortunately, but a buddy of mine is doing his own business and is letting me in on it. It's a repair and construction (as in putting together a futon, rocking chair, etc.). Not really my strong suit, but I admit it'd be a full-time gig that can still let me continue this with minimal obstruction. However, I'm a believer of "If it sounds too good to be true, it is" so I'm gonna see what the catch is first. I'm meeting with him tomorrow to see what it's all about. Don't think for a second the game is dead, though. I have no intentions of dropping it. Eventually, I'll move on to other engines as I do other games, but I need to get this off the ground first. Seriously, thank you everyone for your support. It's what's been keeping me motivated to keep pushing on!
