Greetings Pangaeans!
Not much in terms of news this week, but I promised to keep everyone in the loop, and so I shall! I haven't had much time working on the 3.0 bug, but I was able to find out what happened. Come to find out the RPG Maker MV changed stuff around during their last update; like, a LOT! It's mostly on me since they always warn us to back our stuff up before every update, but I never had this issue before. If it's as problematic as I think, I may have to put the battle sequences to default vanilla settings (meaning no plug-ins, added data, or anything like that). Right now, I'm trying to salvage what I can since it seems to be in that department, but I'm not done with the QA testing yet. I'll learn more later in the week. Why so busy? Why am I not so focused on the game? Make no mistake, I am; however, February is cruel month where I have to pay my bills sooner and my annual bills are also on the rise. Meaning I have to do Lyft more to pay off stuff. Luckily, I managed to get a break. I was able to land an at-home job which I start next week This means I'll have a normal paycheck again, but it's a contract gig so it's gonna suck next year come tax season. But this is still good news. I'll be able to pay off a few debts and I may even get The Adventurer's Journal up and operational again sometime soon! God, I missed writing it. It still won't be for a little while yet, but I'll alert folks once I'm back up and running. As a final announcement, I've closed down my twilightfaze@thelegendofpangaea.com e-mail. The main reason is that I'm still an unknown in the gaming development world. Nobody e-mails me for any reason and I've had it up for almost a year. Seemed like a waste of space. Instead, I'm keeping everything to my home e-mail on the Yahoo! server: twilightfaze@ymail.com. Considering my bad luck with version 0.3, I'm not surprised if my reputation took a hit. I deserve that. I just hope the final result will make up for it. I still appreciate everyone who visits, spreads the word and so on. Your support is why I keep doing this!
