Thanks to the Mac OS X error, a lot of things have been pushed back. However, I still want to keep everyone apprised of what I'm doing.
Right now, I'm gathering all the errors I'm able to track down and looking for a LEGAL method to get my pizza-claws on a Mac OS X device. Easier said than done...but I still have a few connections. I just have to hope they'll come through.
Sorry to say, this means that the Mac OS X version of the DEMO will be down until I can get this fixed. It's not fair to players who download it only to crash right from the jump without knowing why. Once this is fixed, I'll send out an update. Unlike the others, this will take some time since I don't own a Mac device of any kind. I had assumed it would be the same troubles between PC and Mac, but clearly I was wrong.
As for the mobile versions, I've finally decided to give those a test run as well. Short answer: I'm not happy with those results either. A lot of work needs to be done before I can consider bringing the DEMO to this corner. It WILL be done, but it needs to be done right. I don't want a repeat of happened to the Mac OS X version, after all.
During my tinkering, I noticed some of the skills looked a bit....subpar. They're all at it's most basic for now, but even then, I'm not thrilled with how a few turned out, like Azami's Focused Thrust. Some work has been done on that.
This all sounds like bad news, but it's not. The only real problem is the Mac OS X errors. The mobile testing was to get my feet wet so I know where to start and the battle animation fixes are easy to do. I think I'll be able to finally progress the story this weekend. I'm already pretty far behind.
