Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Pangaeans!
I've had quite a turbulent week and wish to share!
For my Final Fantasy XI readers, I'm sorry to report that because of lack of funds, I've had to suspend my game account. What this means is The Adventurer's Journal is on hiatus until I get my first paycheck. I know I could do videos and other resources to fulfill this, but I can't really capture what I'm trying to write in regards to hero's viewpoint. All I'll see is things from the OTHER player's viewpoint. I'm sure it's easy to switch that view for other writers, but I'm not one of them. Korvik, Selvin, and Miirah are my babies and watching them grow as I wrote is part of the joy of writing. I'm hoping to get back to writing sometime next month.
Now for The Legend of Pangaea. Demo version 0.3 is almost done. I'm still working on linking some events and making some changes to make the new stuff flow better, both in writing and in code. As I mentioned before, there's gonna be some layout changes and new additions. After consideration, I've decided to go ahead on expanding the Demo to leave New Home Town. For me, I feel this really covers all of the game's "introduction phase" to set up for when the full game someday comes out.
I wish I had more to share on the job front, but no...no. Good news is I'm still a candidate. According to websites, I'm pretty much hired at this stage, I just wish I was hired and WORKING! As soon as I know more, I'll let you folks know.
Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, or even celebrate the holidays or not, I hope the rest of December and January is a happy one for you. I'm sorry, was that politically correct? Oh well. I just want people to have a happy rest of 2016 and a good start to 2017. How I wish to relay that is up to me.
I love everyone here, regardless of your background! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!
